I often have had this day dream wondering about this cup. I imagine it to be in old world year Europe, India or China. Most likely over a century old in a busy cafe.

i think this is an very exciting question. although i do not have an answer. i will be very curious as to what the other answers will be and in the mean time i will spend a little time researching this if there is anything to research.
Okay wonderful question! I have a feeling most coffee cups fall and break within a couple of years, however there may be one in some old cellar or shelf in India or Cambodia that has touched thousands or possible a million mouths.
